As people are more aware that Spring is coming, with it come thoughts of Spring Break. 

I've heard so many people say they aren't "Spring Break Ready."  Thoughts of putting on their Daisy Duke's and an itty-bitty bikini almost put them into cardiac arrest.

Well I'm here to tell you that you ladies already look fabulous!

However, I am all for eating a little healthier.  Recently I've been trying to eat better; and that means adding in more vegetables.  I'm the type of girl who used to only eat corn.  Haha!  I wasn't getting very much variety.  But lately I have been trying to add in more vegetables, and I have to say, my body has been craving them more and more.

I noticed that I eat my worst when it comes time to snacking.  It's so easy to grab a bag of chips and start chowing.  I hope these recipes will give some inspiration to eat better!

 

Blueberry Kabobs

This is genius!  I love the idea Be A Fun Mom had with her kabobs!  Now you could do this with any fruit, not just blueberries.  The directions are simple:

  • Add desired fruit onto the skewers
  • Coat in yogurt
  • Place on a lined baking sheet
  • Freeze for a few hours

That's it! 

 

PB Banana Quesadilla

 This recipe is also pretty great!  Budget Bytes shares this simple recipe:

  • Spread a couple tablespoons of peanut butter on a quesadilla
  • Add chocolate chips and sliced bananas
  • Fold in half and cook over medium-high heat until crispy
