The Fall Uniform for Everyone!
Posted on November 06 2015
I love fall! Ok, really I love whatever season we are in. But there is something special about fall.
There is nothing quite like a crisp Autumn day with leavings falling out of the sky, or a night around the fire bundled up in a blanket with old friends. Not to mention I love hearing the crunch of leaves under my feet. And yes, I do go out of my way to step on the extra crunchy looking ones. ;)
With fall comes apple cider, pumpkin picking, and of course, implementing my fall uniform. On the days I'm working or just going about doing errands, you can typically find me in jeans, boots, and a cute top. The other days I'm probably kicking it in my sweats. #truth
I get most excited about shoes when the temperatures start dropping. My sandals and wedges get packed away and I get to pull out my (extensive) boot collection. Each year I seem to add at least a pair or two, even though my closet is begging me for some breathing room. These are pairs that have been constantly on my feet.

Let's get real for two seconds. Do these shoes look exactly the freakin' same to you?
Well click on the links and you will find one MAJOR difference: price. I'm guilty and can admit I have both pairs. I bought the Vince Camuto ones during the Nordstrom Annual Sale a few months back, only to realize Target had it's twin in store a few weeks later. It honestly worked out for me in the end. I have higher end ones in a neutral color that I can wear all the time, and got the cheaper ones in a fun olive color.
Well now that I got that out of my system, I can tell you that I wear these a lot. Don't get me wrong, I still rock my taller boots, but booties are all the rage this season.
The next part on my uniform is a good pair of skinny jeans. I love wearing my denim, but lately I have been having fun with colored bottoms. Now by colored jeans, I'm talking black, olive, and charcoal.
Let me tell you, these Dear John Olive Pants are killer! You can find these babies in our store or online. I haven't bit the bullet and bought them yet, but they are for sure my next purchase!
When throwing on tops this fall, I have been pulling for plaids and flannels. No brainer, right? But I also love pieces like this...
You may wonder why you would want to buy something sleeveless during fall, but let me remind you how great layering is! This ivory tunic is a game changer. Throw a cute cardigan and scarf with it, or an edgy leather jacket with a statement necklace. One basic piece = a million combinations.
What's your fall uniform consist of?
